COMPARISON OF POST PULPECTOMY PAIN USING DEXAMETHASONE INFILTRATION INJECTION VS COLD SALINE IRRIGATION POST OPERATIVELY IN PATEINTS PRESENTING WITH SYMPTOMATIC IRREVERSIBLE PULPITIS: AN RCT STUDY ABSTRACT: Objective: The main purpose of this study is the comparison of post pulpectomy pain using dexamethasone infiltration injection vs. cold saline irrigation post operatively in patients presenting with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Materials and methods: A total of 100 patients who presented to a private dental clinic in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were placed in two separate groups , dexamethasone infiltration group and cold saline group. The root canal treatment was performed in two sittings.
